Part time, seasonal, non-benefitted position
$9.62 to $12.00 hourly
19 hours per week. Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8am & 5pm; flexible, will work with school schedule.
Red Butte Garden Marketing Communications is looking for a Work Study student to perform the following:
Create social media stories for the Garden’s Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest channels to promote campaigns and events
Establish relationships with other social media staff at the University to encourage collaboration and co-hosting opportunities
Contribute to creation of a social media process based on best practices and needs of the Garden
Identify stories for more in-depth coverage on the University’s central social media channels
Work with Marketing Communications staff to identify content and stories for weekly promotion
Attend weekly staff meetings and other project meetings as needed
Act as team producer for short video production, including pre and post production tasks
Take marketing photos and video; manage and edit photo and video files

High school diploma or equivalency required. One year full-time customer service experience or equivalency, demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
