Myrtle Spurge is a Class 2 Noxious Weed that grows in large, scattered colonies on our Open Spaces of Salt Lake City. This specific time of year is very significant to the plant’s reproduction. We must dig up these plants before their “flowers” (actually colorful bracts) produce seeds. These seeds spread easily and this plant out-competed native species. Help us in our yearly purge!
If you have Myrtle Spurge on your property that you would like us t o help you remove during this event, contact Sherilyn at firstname.lastname@example.org or 801-972-7809.
