13th Annual Day of the Dead Festival

The Day the Dead Festival, or Festival del Día de Muertos, is a traditional celebration of life honoring the spirits of loved ones who have passed away. The holiday is widely observed in Latin American countries and also honored in other parts of the world. The celebration at MVMC features family-friendly activities, authentic Latin cuisine for sale, a traditional live mariachi band, many types of folk art, and altars honoring deceased loved ones decorated by people from around the community. All proceeds benefit the Moab Valley Multicultural Center.
