2023 Ski With A Ranger

Learn about the geology and ecology of Alta. Join a Volunteer Naturalist Ranger from the Cottonwood Canyons Foundation for an informative and fun learning experience.

The complimentary 45–minute tours meet at the top of Sunnyside lift on Saturdays at 1pm. Ski down an easy run and learn about the Cottonwood Canyons’ geology, history, winter ecology, watershed, wildlife, and more!

Who?
This is a great activity for families or anyone looking to learn more about the ecology and geology of Alta. All skiers need is a lift ticket or season pass.

Meet at the top of Sunnyside lift. All skiers need a lift ticket or season pass. No registration is needed, just show up!

When
1pm | Saturdays starting January 14th.

Ski with a Ranger Naturalists will be available outside the Albion Day Lodge from 10:30am-12:30pm on Saturdays! They will be sharing information about our watershed, mountain ecology, and the environment.

Tours are weather conditions permitted.
