This program of experimental and documentary films by filmmakers currently or formerly based in Utah use movement, voice, and the body to celebrate the resiliency of Utah communities and people. From critiquing the US nuclear weapon testing in Southern Utah, to song and dance honoring queer and trans identities, this program seeks to empower and bring reflection to a variety of current topics. Filmmakers in the program include Jeremy Moss, Talia Keys, Guillermo Ramos, Devin Eticitty, Emelie Mahdavian, Jan Andrews, and Tatiana Svrckova Larsen.

Using movement and disability culture as reference points, this program of experimental films and videos by Kym McDaniel explore the formation of an identity after trauma. At the heart of the program is a fierce desire for connection with self and others, and inevitable grief that follows when connection is impossible. Films screening include Invisible World (2023), Exit Strategy #2 (2017), Exit Strategy #4 (2018), Exit Strategy #5 (2020), a story that doesn’t have to do with me (2021), how to outline grief (In Progress), Biohazard (In Progress), coda (2021).
