A Celebration of Women Piano Composers: Past & Present

This unique multimedia concert experience will combine sculpture, illustration, and solo and ensemble piano works written by women from 1800 through present. Sculptors Myles Howell and Ryoichi Suzuki will be presenting new pieces to be seen up close by audience members during the sculpture walk at intermission and Chuck Landvatter will be back again to create illustrations along with the music for the audience to watch come to life in real time. DAVID HABBEN

Graphic Designer; UDAM Teaching Artist | David received his BFA in Illustration from Brigham Young University in 2006. In 2008, he became one of the first illustrators to become a Children’s Book Design Fellow at Chronicle Books in San Francisco. For the next eight years, David continued to work as an illustrator and designer, both in-house and freelance. Then, In 2017, he earned his MFA in Studio Art, with a Graphic Design emphasis, from The University of Utah.
