Hummingbird in the Desert (48 x 36 in)
In this one-night event, emerging artist Colton Wiscombe will present 35 original oil paintings including nude figures, portraits, still lifes, landscapes, and never before seen depictions of scenes from The Book of Mormon.
This art exhibition will create a space for both internal and external reflection. Wiscombe’s work considers how, as humans, we experience similar emotions regardless of race, gender, or class. We all feel shame and guilt. We all seek happiness and joy. In this divisive world, his work furthers the conversation around the importance of empathy and vulnerability in bringing us all closer together.
