MARCH 15, 2020: Alta Ski Area will be suspending operations starting Sunday morning, March 15, until further notice to limit the spread of the COVID-19 (Coronavirus).

Join Alta for its 11th annual community Alta Earth Day on Saturday, April 18th, 2020. This event encourages environmental stewardship, responsible recreation and awareness of the relationship between climate change and the future of the ski industry in Little Cottonwood Canyon and beyond. The day’s event will feature:

Après Earth Day Celebration

Alta Earth Day is a collaborative effort by organizations and members of the Alta Community: Alta Ski Area, Alta Community Enrichment, Friends of Alta, Alta Environmental Center, Cottonwood Canyons Foundation, Tracy Aviary, and TreeUtah.
