About this Event
This workshop is geared toward the staff of museums and other institutions for whom archival collections may be an important but secondary function of the institution.
Join Archivist Alan Barnett for this engaging, two-hour live virtual workshop. You will get hands-on experience with processing and describing records, have the chance to interact with your fellow attendees, and will receive plenty of time to discuss what you learn and address questions.
Attendance will be limited to 10 participants to facilitate participation. We will be presenting this class at two separate times. Register for the session that works best for your schedule.
Please also plan on preparing for the class by watching about 1-1.5 hours of pre-recorded content covering basic archives fundamentals such as appraisal and collection scope. This pre-recorded content will be provided by the State Archives upon registration.
