Art Exhibit of Chinese Calligraphy and Painting at Millcreek Library

To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, the Salt Lake Eastern Art Club presents 39 pieces of authentic Chinese brush calligraphy and ink-color painting artworks, created by 16 local Chinese artists and 14 art-students. The contents of Chinese calligraphy describe beautiful full moon or famous ethic teachings. The ink-color painting includes lovely cats, panda, birds, flowers, mountains and more.  Chinese calligraphy and painting are two major forms of Chinese arts. Learning and practicing these arts can broaden youth’s perspectives and skills and enhance seniors’ mental health.
