At Springtime

The Salt Lake Children’s Choir, Ralph B. Woodward, Director will present “At Springtime,” a concert of classical masterpieces and international treasures on  Friday and Saturday, May 10 and 11 at 7:30 PM in the beautiful St. Ambrose Catholic Church.

The program will include works by Bach, Purcell, Haydn, Brahms, Grieg, and American choral master, Randall Thompson—along with music from Scotland, Wales, Switzerland, Portugal, Norway, Slovakia, Chile, Bolivia, and the Caribbean.

Jazz piano great, Steve Keen, will be featured with the choir in the American standard, “On the Sunny Side of the Street.” and rising star (runner-up in the “Voice of Ukraine” competition), Yulia Tymochko, will sing two of her Ukrainian favorites, then join the choir in two inspiring songs from the American Broadway Stage.

To conclude the program, choir alumni will join the choir in its traditional, “A Day in Spring.”
