August Art Stroll 2022 In the Store and Online

Welcome to our In-store and Online Art Stroll on Friday, August 5th, 2022! The store will be open late for the Art Stroll from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

FEATURED ARTIST BIO:
Stephanie Howerton is the President and Worker Bee for Our Children’s Earth. She has always had a passion for creating things and working for a good cause. This company is a combination of those ideas. She strongly believes that what we do today affects our Children and the Earth of tomorrow. So Our Children’s Earth, LLC was born. At Our Children’s Earth, LLC, we make eco-friendly and nature-inspired clothes, jewelry and household items.
She says “My heart delights in creating something new so I tend to explore a variety of arts. I hope that you feel that same joy while using your new purchase.”
She has been featured in the Huffington Post, VEIN Magazine, Indie Ogden, Standard Examiner, Good Things Utah, Fox 13 News and a variety of blogs and more.
Stephanie also teaches a wide variety of classes at The Local Artisan Collective.
Find her and her amazing hubby, Lance Howerton, in front of the store. They will be doing marbling demos with the Biggest Marbling Tray. Stop by to see this mesmerizing art being done in person. They will also be offering FREE feather marbling to anyone that stops by to say hi. So come on over and create your own marbled feather. All supplies are provided.

Classes and Events happening during the Art Stroll:
-6:00 to 9:00: Stephanie and Lance Howerton from Our Children’s Earth will be doing marbling demos with the Biggest Marbling Tray. Stop by to see this mesmerizing art being done in person. -6:00 to 9:00: Mike Albee from Albee Carving Bears will be doing a LIVE Bear Carving! Stop in to see his amazing chainsaw carving in person. He will be out in front of the store.
-6:00 to 9:00: Stop in the store for a chance to win an awesome set of 5 goodies from Family Freeze Dried! They are so delicious.
– 6:30-8:30pm Rene Venegas, our 16th generation silversmith, of Galleon’s Gold Jewelry will be teaching the copper cuff bracelet class. This is a great class for the whole family, date night and ladies’ night out. Class is $30 which that includes all materials and tools. No experience needed. The fun will be in Classroom A. -6:00 to 9:00: Stop in to see Izzy Fischer from Untidy Venus. She will be dyeing tie dye kitchen towels and YOU CAN TOO! For $10 tie dye your own eco friendly paper towel alternative! She will be in front of the store so stop by to do some tie dye!
-6:00 to 9:00 Abbie Devers from Paint Kits ToGogh will be doing a LIVE art demo. Hmmmm what will she be doing? Find her in front of the store creating.
6:00 to 8:15: Steve Stones is an Ogden artist who will be doing a demo of acrylic on canvas painting during the Art Stroll. Find him in Classroom B.
6:00 to 9:00: Summer from FalkenCraft will be working on art pieces and prepping buttons as a demo! They will be out in front of the store arting it up.
6:00 to 9:00: The Junior League of Ogden will be there to promote strong female leadership and Oasis Community Garden, as well as answering any questions the community has about recruitment and their work. They will be in front of the store so stop by to talk.
