Brazilian drum workshop for all levels, drums provided.
Learn the exhilarating art of Samba Batucada Brazilian drumming. All levels welcome, all drums provided. There is a place and a drum for everyone, from beginners to professional-level drummers. Learn how to play the traditional drums found inside a Rio Samba School: Surdo, Repenique, Timbal, Caixa, Tamborim, Chocalho and Agogo. Course will cover hand and stick drumming techniques rooted in Brazilian and Afro-Brazilian drum traditions.
