Beginning Classical Guitar - Guitarra Clasica para Principiantes
This is an eight week bilingual course for adults 55 and better to learn to play classical guitar. Este es un curso bilingüe de ocho semanas para adultos mayores de 55 años para aprender a tocar la guitarra clásica.
Instructor: Maestro Gabino Flores - This is a bilingual course taught in English and Spanish
An introductory classical guitar course primarily serving adults age 55 or better.
Participants will learn righthand and lefthand techniques, music theory, classical guitar repertoire, music, classical guitar composers and main performers. Participants will have the opportunity to practice in class and play solos and in ensembles.

The price of the 8 week course is $25 and will include a guitar to keep. Some scholarships are available.

A Culminating Performance to showcase the skills learned will be held April 26 from 6:30 pm to 8 pm at the South Salt Lake Community Center Co-Op Art Room.
