Bird Puppets

Utah Museum of Fine Arts presents family-friendly at-home art activities. A new activity will be added every third Saturday of the month. This month, make articulated bird puppets!

Japanese art is back on display in the UMFA galleries! One of the showpieces is an intricate articulated (or moveable) raptor sculpture. Learn how this sculpture was made, then create your own articulated bird puppet using materials you find at home.
