BYU World of Dance: Global Movement

A long-standing tradition for 55 years, BYU’s finest student dance ensembles shine in “World of Dance,” the treasured annual season-opening showcase featuring performances by Ballroom Dance Company, Contemporary Dance Theatre, International Folk Dance, Living Legends, Theatre Ballet, and the Young Ambassadors.

Each year, students and faculty arrive early to campus to prepare for this one-of-a-kind show, highlighting a variety of dance numbers that celebrate not only the dancers’ heritage and traditions, but also their discipline and hard work to be in one of the most diverse university dance departments in the country. This concert promises to have something for everyone, as 150 students will present choreographic works in ballet, ballroom, contemporary, and cultural dance. Get ready to move with BYU World of Dance.
