Cantorum Chamber Choir: Untraveled Worlds

Come witness the world premieres of four new choral compositions: “Chiaroscuro” by Jennifer Lucy Cook, “God So Loved the World” by Ashley Eyre, “moon/light” by Andrew Maxfield–a setting of two poems by the late Canadian physicist, Rebecca Elson  which features cellist, Bryn Boogert, and “To Put on Feet Again” by Margot Murdoch. Also on the program is J. S. Bach’s “Lobet den Herrn” performed with string quartet, a setting of Orlando Gibbons’ “Drop, drop slow tears” with saxophone, “Loveliest of Trees” by John Chorbajian, “The Sun Never Says” by Dan Forrest, “With a Lily in Your Hand” by Eric Whitacre, “Some Keep the Sabbath” also by Jennifer Lucy Cook, and the exciting “Untraveled Worlds” by Paul Haley.
