Cedar City 172nd Birthday Celebration

CedTraditions will take place over several days with several activities. Begin the celebration on Thursday, Nov 9th, at 10 am with a Historic Scavenger Hunt (CedarCity.org). Continue the celebration on Friday, Nov 10th, at 10 am – 4 pm at the Iron Mission State Park, 11 am Veteran’s Day Ceremony at SUU Sharwan Smith Student Center, and 7 pm Gone But Not Forgotten – A History of Cedar City’s Historic Main Street beginning at the Cedar City Council Chambers. Then on Saturday, Nov 11th, at 10 am Veteran’s Day Ceremony at the Veterans’ Park, 10 am – 4 pm Iron Mission Days & Birthday Cake at the Frontier Homestead State Park, 2 pm Return Completed Scavenger Hunt to the Frontier Homestead State Park, 5:30 – 7 pm Candlelight Tours at the Frontier Homestead State Park (every 30 min).  Finish out the celebration on Sunday, Nov 12, at 7 pm Sing “Happy Birthday” at the Master Singers Concert in the Heritage Center Theater.
