Central Utah Ballet and Chrysalis Ballet are delighted to present “The Nutcracker” choreographed by Jennie Creer-King. This colorful and festive story is loosely based on the E.T.A. Hoffmann fantasy of The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, about a girl who is gifted a Nutcracker that comes to life on Christmas Eve, waging a battle against the evil Mouse King. Creer-King beautifully invites the audience on a journey through the land of the snow and the kingdom of the Sugar Plum Fairy.
