Chosen Vessels Artist Discussion

Join us Saturday, February 26th, at 7 pm for a lecture and discussion from artist Esther Hi’ilani Candari.

Esther’s current exhibition, Chosen Vessels (still on display at the gallery), features primarily depictions of women from scripture narratives. Saturday’s talk and discussion will focus on the kinds of ideas we bring and questions we ask when engaging scriptural stories, and how these dynamics relate to visual aesthetics. She will be joined by guest speaker Hannah Seriac, a classics student at Brigham Young University.

Saturday’s event is free and open to the public. Unvaccinated guests should please wear masks. Light refreshments will be served.
