Join us for a panel discussion surrounding the Projects Gallery exhibition Entropy, which explores the ecological changes the photographer, Diane Tuft, has witnessed in the Great Salt Lake.
Continuing our ongoing lecture series regarding climate change, we hope to explore the role of entropy (through the nuanced scope of anthropogenic or geologically produced disasters and changes) not only regarding the lake and its disappearance (as captured in the photographs of Tuft), but to look at the notion of entropy broadly, and to examine, through the lens of various professions, the way all systems devolve into chaos and ruin, what it means for our ever-changing world, and for us as ... view more »
