Dummy Big Air Competition (CANCELED)

Build a dummy – then send it!

Spring is here and it’s time to party! Wax those old skis and boards and start building your dummy, folks. We are hosting a Dummy Big Air Comp April 1st and this will be no joke! We have mega prizes, a DJ and our friends from Athletic Brewing will be on site too.

Cost: $30/dummy

RULES
Dummy cannot weigh more than 120 lbs. Dummies weighing over weight limit will be disqualified.
Dummy must be carried by no more than 4 people to top of run
Dummy cannot be loaded onto lifts
Dummy may not be motorized in any way
No explosives or flammable materials allowed
Dummy can be mounted on either skis or snowboards. Sleds and toboggans are not allowed.

EVENT TIMELINE

12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. — Check-In
Check in at Last Chance Lodge. Registration will be confirmed, dummy will be weighed.
Once checked in and weighed, dummies will be left with Solitude staff to be transported to start of run.
If participant misses check-in, they are disqualified.

4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. — Prep
Participants prepare for start of event. Participants will need to boot pack to top of run.

5:00 p.m. – 6:30 p.m. — Dummy Launching

7:00 p.m. — Prizes awarded

Low center of gravity + sturdy legs = successful dummy
