Great Salt Lake Collaborative Book Club

Join us to discuss the book “Cadillac Desert,” along with guest Erik Balken of the Glen Canyon Institute. The first 15 people to register can get a free copy of the book at the Sprague Branch.

In this special Great Salt Lake Collaborative Book Club, we’ll read and discuss Cadillac Desert by Marc Reisner. Joining us will be Erik Balken, Executive Director of the Glen Canyon Institute and committee member at the Center for The Colorado River at Utah State University. Cadillac Desert is a nonfiction book about water and drought-related issues in the American West. We’ll use the book as a starting point to discuss the Great Salt Lake.
