Jay Reid

Jay Reid is an American comedian and actor. He got his start in comedy performing stand-up in small clubs throughout Las Vegas. Reid came to wider prominence after his TV debut on BET’s “Coming to the Stage.” This Las Vegas-based comedian has single-handedly captured the likes of millions after winning Bill Bellamy’s “Who’s Got Jokes?” His triumph on “Who’s Got Jokes?” landed him alongside comedian, Bill Bellamy on “The Ladies Night Out Tour” as well as seen in Showtime’s highly anticipated comedy special “Ladies Night Out Comedy Special.”Reid is still continuing to perform his first love, stand-up, at comedy venues throughout the country. He is a regular at national comedy chains such as The Laugh Factory, The Improv’s, The Funnybone’s, and The Comedy Store as well as featured performer at the Essence Music Festival. Additionally. he filmed his own 30-minute comedy special “L.M.A.O” that premiered on TV One. Reid has since expanded his comedic talent into film, television and music.
