Juneteenth Gallery Talk at SUMA

Join Assistant Director, Curatorial Affairs, Dr. Becky Bloom, on a special tour of the exhibition A Dream Deferred: New Perspectives on Black Experience in the Work of Aïsha Lehmann and Vitus Shell, that will highlight themes relevant to the history and celebration of Juneteenth.

In observance of this newly-established federal holiday, we will keep our doors open to commemorate the legacy of Juneteenth through this exhibition and tour, encouraging visitors to reflect on the long and continued struggle for Civil Rights for all Americans.
