KRCL's Music Meets Movies - Echo in the Canyon

The film is a look back at the influence and music scene of Laurel Canyon in the Mid 60s. Through never-before-heard stories from David Crosby, Brian Wilson,and Tom Petty’s final onscreen interview, the film shows how these artist’s creations reverberated through time, creating a  new generation of musicians. The songs from that era provide an entry point as host Jakob Dylan is joined by the likes of Beck, Norah Jones, and Fiona Apple to interpret and perform many of these classic songs in concert at L.A.’s Orpheum Theatre.
