MATILDA The Musical

Cedar Valley Community Theatre is proud to present the smash Broadway hit, Matilda, with book, music and lyrics by Tim Minchin and Dennis Kelly, January 17th-25th at the Heritage Center Theatre. Matilda is a girl with astonishing wit and intelligence. She’s unloved by her cruel parents but impresses her schoolteacher, the highly loveable Miss Honey. Matilda’s school life isn’t completely smooth sailing, however – the school’s mean headmistress, Miss Trunchbull, hates children. But Matilda has courage and cleverness in equal amounts, and could be the school pupils’ saving grace! Based on the classic children’s story by Roald Dahl, and packed with high-energy musical numbers, MATILDA is the perfect show for everyone in your family!
