Once Upon a Mattress

Once Upon a Mattress is a musical comedy with music by Mary Rodgers. The musical is a humorous adaptation of the 1835 Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale “The Princess and the Pea”. Directed by Scott Sacket with choreography by Chelsea Alley, Orem High School is known for its great productions and magical sets. Princess Winifred is the last in a long line of princesses who have tried to sue for the hand of Prince Dauntless. The Queen sets impossible tasks for each princess to pass in order to be considered worthy of her son. Come cheer for the loving, loud, quirky Princess Winifred as she finally finds someone who loves her for who she truly is.
