Painting Mountains and Canyons Employing Atmospheric Perspective

Join us for an evening learning how to add depth to your paintings & brush up on your watercolor techniques!

Mountains and canyons surround us in the Salt Lake Valley and are endlessly challenging to paint! I will focus on creating distance in your paintings through the use of receding color values and lessening of detail ("atmospheric perspective").
For participants, it would be helpful to know basic watercolor techniques like wet-on-wet and wet-on-dry. Also, to know how to mix colors from basic pigments and differentiate between "warm" and "cool" colors.

REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED FOR THIS EVENT. The workshop is limited to 12 people. A voluntary donation of $25 is requested to cover the cost of supplies.
