This will be a presentation about the 22 year period between 1847 to 1869. Have you ever wondered what things were invented and why during the Pioneer years? Teresa Orton, Director of DUP Pioneer Museum will have all of the facts.

Imagine traveling across the plains and mountains in a wagon pulled by oxen or horses.  We can’t really.  Nowadays a car trip of a few hundred miles requires movies and games on electronic tablets for children (preferably with headphones), lots of snacks, and stops along the way for clean bathrooms and fresh drinks. Those several hours on highways in heated or air-conditioned vehicles seem so difficult.
