Salt Lake City Tattoo Expo

The Salt Lake City Tattoo Expo, sponsored in part by Uinta Brewing Co, comes to the Salt Palace Convention Center Hall 5 March 17th, 18th, 19th.

Billed as one of the largest tattoo conventions in the U.S., the Salt Lake City Tattoo Expo will feature a invitation-only group of over 400 world-class tattoo artists representing 110 tattoo shops from across the country and around the world. Artists will showcase a variety of techniques and styes from American Traditional, Black & Gray, Fine Line, Realism, and Japanese.

International artists includes those from Korea, Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, and Japan as well as artists spanning across the U.S. from Hawaii to New York.

“I have loved the art of tattoo since my first tattoo in 1998.” explains organizer Thad Robison. “We’ve channeled that love to carefully curate a group of artists for this event. From this event, you’ll see some of the best tattoo work available in the world, right here in Utah.”

This three-day gathering is a unique opportunity for the public and enthusiasts alike to come and explore art. A vendor area features artisan vendors with beautiful displays and objects for sale.  Attendees may also get tattoos from some of the finest artists. This opportunity may not otherwise be possible.

Other activities include a daily tattoo contest. The contest is open to the public and attendees will display tattoos to compete for daily prizes.

Doors open Friday March 17th at 3 pm. The Salt Lake City Tattoo Expo runs through Sunday March 19th.

Daily tickets are $25, or Weekend Pass for $50.  Kids 12-17 $10, and kids under 12 are free.
