Seven Lions (Jeff Montalvo) is quickly taking the dance world hostage with his deep, soulful, hybridized creations – at times elegant, at others pulverizing – all distinctly his own. With his melding of main room bombast and a sensitive, human touch it’s no wonder he has gained famed as quickly as he has. With support from such artists as Armin Van Buuren, Above and Beyond and Skrillex, Seven Lions is no doubt a force to be reckoned with.

From metal band member, to solo industrial producer, to trance-dub trailblazer – Seven Lions has already achieved quite a diverse oeuvre, but his work seems to be only beginning. An innovative, fresh-thinking producer, he is one of the more beautiful but dance-centered artists you’re likely to discover in a while.

FUN FACT: Seven Lions took his name from a character in the fantasy book called Latro In The Mist by Gene Wolfe.
