This Thanksgiving Day morning race has something for the whole family! Whether it’s the 10k, 5k or 1k kids run, or it’s just the beautiful weather and family entertainment at the park, we hope this will become part of your Family’s tradition for years to come. The event opens at 7:00am with races starting at 8am, prizes and awards shortly after completion and then off you go, back to your home where the real work begins; hence Hobble Now, Gobble Later! Thanksgiving is the most popular race day of the entire year across the nation, so come join us at a great tradition and discover why The Gobbler is the perfect way to start off this Family Holiday.
CODVID-19 & SOCIAL DISTANCING
To help keep participants safe during The Gobbler we ask you to maintain a social distance while lining up to start this years event. We are also asking all participants to wear a mask before the event starts and in the event venue. However, you can of course remove your mask as the race starts. After the race starts the starting line will remain open for 10 minutes to allow participants to social distance at their own pace. The race will be chip timed so this will not effect your total race time.
Aid Station & Volunteers – All volunteers will be required to wear masks during the event and wear gloves if they are handing out food or water to participants. Only volunteers will be able to fill up water cups to ensure each water station stays disinfected. Disinfectant and disinfectant wipes will be at each aid station for volunteers to use and help keep items clean.
Our goal is to have a fun safe event that stays within the guidelines St. George City and the Utah Health Department have set for special events in our area.
