Summer Jewelry Making Camp

Join us for a great 2-day camp for teenagers to make their own jewelry. It is for kids ages 13-18. Class size is limited to 4 students.

Join us for a great 2-day camp for teenagers to make their own jewelry. It is for kids ages 13-18. Class size is limited to 4 students.
Students will make: copper cuff bracelet, a copper dog tag/pendant with stamped words, a sterling silver ring and a silver pendant necklace with a stone. For students that have taken his class before, different projects will be given to them.
$70 for the camp. Cost includes all materials and tools. Cost also includes a snack each day.

This class will be taught by René Venegas, a 16th generation silversmith. His family was one of the first to arrive from Spain to the Americas. His ancestor, Felipe Venegas, was the silversmith for the early cathedrals in the Dominican Republic and stamped the first European coins in the New World.
