Sunset Hike

Meet at Buffalo Point Trailhead at 5:45pm for a short 1/2 mile hike to the top of Buffalo Point where we will watch the sun set across Great Salt Lake. You’re encouraged to stay a few minutes more and watch the full moon rise over the Wasatch mountain range before hiking down by the light of the moon. This is a family friendly trail, and leashed dogs are welcome. This event is free- but regular entry fees apply. Contact tackley@utah.gov with any questions.
