Merrill Bradshaw was one of the most celebrated Utah composers of the 20th Centrury. As professor of composition at Brigham Young University, he composed in all genres of classical music. His magnum opus, The Restoration, which premiered 50 years ago, is written for large symphonic chorus, chamber choir, solo vocal quartet, and symphony orchestra. It is considered the culmination of his life's work as a composer.
