The Threads That Bind Us: A Celebration of Textile Arts

“The Threads That Bind Us” features both traditional and modern pieces created in a rich variety of textile and fiber art forms. All entries are designed and handcrafted by Utah fiber artists. This colorful exhibit showcases traditional handwoven items (such as rugs, clothing, and tea towels), tapestry, art quilting, embroidered art, handmade lace, a variety of surface design techniques, basketry, and other fiber-related art forms.

The exhibit will be open September 7 – October 18, Monday-Thursday, 9:00am – 5:00pm. We’ll also have special extended hours at the UCCC on the first Friday of every month from noon-7:00pm. Come check it out!
