Thrill of the Chase: Folk Stories to Fright and Delight

We’re excited to announce our storytelling series, “Thrill of the Chase: Folk Stories to Fright and Delight.” Join us at 7 p.m. on Friday nights in October to listen to scary folktales, urban legends, and ghost stories told by talented storytellers from across Utah. This free event will feature three storytellers each night, followed by refreshments. Seating is first come, first served.

October 20 – Legends: Urban and Otherwise
Cassie Ashton at 7:00 p.m., Lora Schmidt at 7:35 p.m., and Franque Bains at 8:10 p.m.

October 27 – Ghost Stories
Jayrod Garrett at 7:00 p.m., Randel McGee at 7:35 p.m., and Mark Gollaher at 8:10 p.m.

To accompany the event, the museum will display haunting, black-and-white photographs and lithographs from the State of Utah Alice Merrill Horne Art Collection.
