Coppelia is a comical ballet about a life-sized doll. Recorded in the natural surroundings of Camp Wapiti in the Tooele Valley, this performance will delight you with dances from our auditioned company corps and by class dancers of all ages.

Our version of Coppelia is loosely based on E.T.A. Hoffman's story of inventor Dr. Coppelius, who wants to bring his favorite doll to life. Our version takes place in a happy village, where a toymaker designs to turn all her toys into an army to take over the world. The power the Toymaker possesses doesn't stand a chance against the toys and the villagers who only want to feel and share joy.
