Presented by Utah Museum of Fine Arts at Antelope Island Visitor Center Amphitheater

UMFA in the Wild: Antelope Island State Park | Drawing the Sky with Cyanometers

Join the UMFA at the Antelope Island State Park for free family fun and art making!

Join the UMFA in Utah's amazing wilderness to explore the color of the sky using a scientific instrument called a cyanometer. This tool invented over 200 years ago is used to measure the shade of blue in the sky. You can use your own cyanometer to help draw the right blue sky in a landscape. Then visit the new exhibition Air at the UMFA on view through December to explore more art about the air we see, smell, and breath.
