The Utah Symposium is a free, three-day event that brings together major figures in the sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities to discuss topics of interest across disciplines. This year’s theme is “Mere Beauty.”
The University of Utah will host the Utah Symposium of Science and Literature, which brings together major figures in the sciences, the social sciences, and the humanities to discuss topics of interest across disciplines. This year’s Symposium theme is “Mere Beauty,” and keynote speakers will include poet Claudia Rankine, physicist Brian Greene, and neuroscientist and artist Bevil Conway.

Parking is available adjacent to the Alumni House and can be reserved for a fee. Paid parking is also available at the Union Pay Lot. Parking is free on Saturday and Sunday.
