11:00 a.m. Wednesday: A conversation with paleontologist Dr. Mark Loewen, Research Associate at NHMU, will join us to share his passion and experience studying dinosaurs.
9:30 a.m. Thursday: What Happened at Cleveland-Lloyd Dinosaur Quarry?
11:00 a.m. Thursday: Q&A with Tylor Birthisel, NHMU’s Paleo Prep Lab Manager to discuss his work both in the field and back at the museum.

Research Quest courses are:

-Facilitated by a professional Natural History Museum of Utah educator
-Interactive
-Offered weekdays beginning at 9:30 AM MDT
-Taught in multiple sessions with fresh content each day
-Perfect for these difficult times when people are stuck at home
The coursework was designed for middle school students, but students of all ages are welcome.
We’ll offer all students who complete each class a digital Certificate of Completion–though be sure to sign up in advance to get the certificate.
Research Quest provides supplemental science education and critical thinking opportunities using research and objects from the Natural History Museum of Utah’s collections.
