Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Price, Utah, is one of the oldest Orthodox parishes in America. It was founded by Greek miners and shepherds at the beginning of the 20th century. Today the congregation includes Orthodox Christians of Greek descent along with life-long Orthodox from other ethnic backgrounds, and converts to the Orthodox Christian faith from many faith backgrounds and no previous Christian faith.
