Bhakti Yoga Kirtan Center

A place in Salt Lake City to learn about the Art of Kirtan and Bhakti Yoga. Here we practice traditional style Kirtan (devotional singing and chanting) with Mrdanga drums and Karatales, traditional kirtan instruments. Songs are sung in Bengali and Sanskrit and the english translations are read following each song.

Classes include kirtan and discussion about the practice of Bhakti Yoga which is a way of adjusting oneself to live with a giving attitude rather than a taking one. This practice is coming from India but it’s value is being appreciated worldwide.
