Deseret Experimental Opera Company

Deseret Experimental Opera Company is a collective of artists collaborating across disciplines through the medium of opera. By bringing together diverse specialists ranging from musicians to dancers to writers to actors, we strive for the age old goal of opera: a work greater than the sum of its parts. DEXO, founded in 2013 by Logan Hone, Jesse Quebbeman-Turley and Luke Swenson, has produced 11 works:  traditionally staged operas, short operas in strange venues, operas on moving bicycles, an installed opera and an improvised opera. DEXO strongly believes in forging a path for opera into the 21st century through egalitarian collaboration.
