Mountain-Con

By way of definition, Mountain-Con is an annual science-fiction convention celebration of fandom, organized by fans for fans on a non-profit level. Compared to the pro cons (those held specifically to gain money and not much else), Mountain-Con recognizes all forms of participation: roleplaying games, reading books or comics, acquiring and displaying various collectibles, anim? and cosplay, writing/reading/collecting fanfic, performing community service, enjoying tv and movies, live-action role-playing, collecting autographs and meeting celebrity guests, collectible card game tournaments, creating fan films, joining fan clubs, filking and other music, assembling to wear costumes or compete in masquerade contests, traditional wargaming and miniatures, creating fanzines and websites?and the list goes on and on.
