Salt Lake Swing

We are a new 501(c)3 founded in 2016. our mission is to promote, preserve and innovate all things Swing; dance, music, art and culture.

Founded by a Business and Community Organizer, a world class Swing Dancer, and 3 leading Swing Musicians.

Our goal is to provide an organizational structure bridging musicians, dancers, and venues to have greater impact and engagement with the community, preserving the American culture of swing and jazz music and dance, providing diverse opportunities to engage every demographic in our community and promoting the overall live music culture that Salt Lake City is becoming known for.

Our current projects in development include;

1. An after school dance program for at risk youth.

2. A 21 and over dinner, live music and dance night at a downtown venue

3. An all ages bi-weekly dance instruction / live music dance at a prominent Salt Lake historic venue.

4. An 18 and over electro-swing night at one of Salt Lakes biggest night clubs.

5. we are also developing an electro-swing orchestra combining the talents of local musicians and DJs to create original music that has broader youth appeal, exposing a new generation to the sounds of Swing.
