Step into a Story® at the nationally recognized Treehouse Children’s Museum in downtown Ogden. With dozens of interactive exhibits, handcrafted by Treehouse artists, focusing on family literacy, children’s literature from around the world, storytelling, and the arts, a visit to Treehouse develops imaginations and creativity. Climb up to the deck of the giant tree at the center of the Museum, be the engineer of the miniature Jupiter locomotive, be the chef in Jack’s Diner on Mainstreet USA, explore the Walk in the Woods exhibit, and travel the globe in the One World Village. Designed for children from 1 to 12 and their caregivers, Treehouse offers lots of programming in the Simmons Storybook Theater and its Art Garden. Discount admissions are offered on Mondays and Friday events, and memberships are available for families that include tickets to all the Treehouse programs and events for one year. (Sponsored memberships are available through partnerships with Head Start programs and local schools.) Annual events include the Fairy Tale Ball and the Enchanted Woods, plus storybook character parties like the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party and the Over the Rainbow Celebration.
