loveDANCEmore: Mudson at the Marmalade Library

loveDANCEmore: Mudson at the Marmalade Library

Presented by loveDANCEmore at Salt Lake City Public Library Marmalade Branch

Featuring works in progress by Whitney Collins, Nicholas Daulton, Katie Davis, Natalie Desch, Tiana Lovett, Carly Schaub, and Allison Shir.

Mudson is a semi-annual works in progress series which supports new choreography in SLC. Since its inception in 2010, Mudson has fostered the creation of over 100 new dances. Visit lovedancemore.org for more information.

Following the show will be a Post-Performance-Palaver & Platitudes (PPPP*) at Em’s Restaurant.

Palaver – idle chatter, a conference (often used humorously), loud and confused talk and activity, hubbub.

With support from the Utah Humanities Council, loveDANCEmore aims to extend dialogues surrounding Salt Lake Dance. With free appetizers and a cash bar, dancers and patrons can have an informal conversation surrounding the works presented as well as issues from the loveDANCEmore performance journal and a solicitation of upcoming journal themes. There is no cost to attend the PPPP but registration is required on Eventbrite.

To attend the PPPP at Em’s, please RSVP here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/post-performance-palaver-platitudes-party-tickets-27192740218.

Mudson is supported by funding from the Utah Division of Arts and Museums, Zoo Arts and Parks as well as the Salt Lake City Arts Council. Our performance journal and PPPP receive additional funding from the Utah Humanities Council.

There is no cost to attend the PPPP but registration is required on Eventbrite. Future PPPP events will use different spaces and performances to bring the dialogue to different portions of the dance community.
