Explorers: Space and Time - American Fork Symphony...

Presented by American Fork Symphony and Timpanogos Arts Foundation at American Fork Junior High School

The American Fork Symphony will remember the bravery and excitement of explorers – both in real life and on the silver screen – in its February concert titled “Explorers: Space and Time.” The concert will include a performance of the awe-inspiring “Also Sprach Zarathustra” (better known as the theme from the movie “2001: A Space Odyssey”) as well as an orchestral arrangement of Beethoven’s “Moonlight Sonata” featuring the symphony’s harpist Brittany Snedecor. Music from the movies E.T., Apollo 13, Star Trek Into Darkness and Back to the Future will also be performed. The concert will be conducted by Jason Robison.
